The mandate FAQ

The mandate, in honest answers.

Read the CSL guide

Was the deadline extended?

No. Always three years from Skill-75/2024: 22 August 2027 for existing schools, from the start for fresh affiliations.

Must we buy CBSE's equipment list?

No. Skill-13/2026 calls it “suggestive”. A vendor calling it compulsory is misreading it.

Does an ATL count as a CSL?

Different schemes: an Atal Innovation Mission grant, and a CBSE affiliation requirement with a space rule. They overlap; the comparison is on the CSL page.
