What we've noticed

NCERT's Kaushal Bodh, mandatory from session 2025-26: 110 hours a year, two consecutive periods twice a week (Circular Skill-81/2025).
A Composite Skill Lab, existing schools by 22 August 2027 (Skill-75/2024; deadline in Skill-13/2026).

The circulars as written (Skill-75/2024, Skill-13/2026, Skill-81/2025), and what in them is only "suggestive".
Year Setup
A lab year against a real timetable: two consecutive periods, classes 6 to 8, April to March.
Session Facilitation
Briefing, circulating, questioning, closing a double period.
Project & Assessment
The three forms of work, and the weightages: written 10%, viva 30%, activity book 30%, portfolio 10%, teacher observation 20%.

What teachers ask us.
I don't have a technical background. Is this for me?
Yes. Educators before equipment. Pedagogy first. Tools earn their place when they add value. Running a lab year is teaching work, not engineering.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes, and an honest one: the programme, the modules completed, the work produced. A record, not the product.
Can my school pay for me?
