Privacy policy
What we collect, why, and how to get it back or have it deleted. This site collects less than most; the short version is that nothing happens until you write to us.

Who we are
HANKERNEST TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED, of Dayalbagh, Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected through this website. You can reach us at info@hankernest.com or +91-7000403607.
What this website collects on its own
Nothing.
There are no cookies, no analytics, no advertising pixels and no tracking of any kind on this site. We do not know who visits, which pages they read, or where they came from. This is a deliberate choice and not an oversight, and you can check it: open your browser's developer tools and look at the storage and the network tab.
What we collect when you write to us
The forms on this site post to our own server. When you press the button, what you typed is sent to us, written to a file on the server, and then emailed to our inbox. It is written down first and emailed second on purpose: if the mail fails we still have what you sent, rather than losing it without either of us knowing.
An enquiry form sends:
- your name and your role;
- the name and type of your school or institution;
- a phone number, an email address, or both;
- whatever you wrote in the message; and
- the IP address the form was submitted from.
The IP address is there for one reason, which is to stop the same machine submitting the form a hundred times in an hour. We do not use it to work out who you are or where you live, and we do not combine it with anything else.
We use the rest for one thing: to reply to you and to have the conversation you started. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for anyone else's marketing. Under the DPDP Act our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by filling the form in and sending it, and you can withdraw it at any time by asking us to delete what you sent.
The newsletter form sends your email address and the IP address it came from, and nothing else. It has no unsubscribe link on it yet. To come off the list, write to us and we will take you off.
Where it is kept, and for how long
Two copies exist. One is a file on our web server, in a folder that is not reachable from the web and is not touched when the site is redeployed. The other is the email in our mailbox.
Enquiries. We keep them while we are talking to you and for up to three years after our last contact, so that we can pick up a conversation a school restarts a year later. After that we delete them.
Newsletter addresses. We keep them until you ask to come off the list.
If you want yours deleted sooner, ask and we will.
The parts we do not control
Our web host
This site is hosted by Hostinger, on a server in India, with backups held in Singapore. Like every web server, it writes access logs that include the IP address of each visitor. We do not use those logs to build a profile of anyone, and we do not combine them with anything else.
Nothing else
There is no third party on this site at all. The typefaces are served from our own server, not from Google Fonts, so your browser does not announce your visit to anyone before the page loads. There is no content delivery network in front of the pages, no embedded video, no map, and no social widget.
Links out
Where we link to another site, that site has its own privacy policy and we are not responsible for it.
Children
Some of what we publish is written for school students to read, and we would like them to read it. What we do not do is collect anything from them. There is nothing on this site a child can fill in: the forms ask for a professional role and an institution because they are for adults enquiring on behalf of a school, and the newsletter is written for teachers and school leaders.
So a student can read every page here without us learning that they did. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 through this website. If you believe a child has sent us their details anyway, write to us and we will delete them.

Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you may ask us to:
- tell you what personal data of yours we hold and what we have done with it;
- correct anything inaccurate, or complete anything missing;
- erase it, where we are not required to keep it; and
- nominate someone to exercise these rights if you die or become incapable.
Ask at info@hankernest.com. We will respond within thirty days. If you are not satisfied with how we handled it, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Grievances
Our Grievance Officer is Hardik Chadda, Founder and Director. The DPDP Act asks for a person rather than a department, so that is who it is. Write "Grievance" in the subject line and we will acknowledge within three working days.
Changes
When the site changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top changes too. We do not quietly widen what we collect.
