FOR SCHOOLS

Building creativity into the schools, the way schools really run.

We help Indian schools turn innovation labs, teacher development, and the August 2027 CBSE Composite Skill Lab mandate into work that actually fits the classroom.

WHAT WE'VE NOTICED

Most school innovation programmes go quiet within six months.

The lab gets built. The kit arrives. A few weeks of enthusiasm follow, and then the room slowly empties. Teachers feel under-prepared. Students lose interest. The lab opens only when an inspection is announced.
This isn’t a problem of equipment. The labs are well-stocked. It’s a problem of pedagogy, capacity, and fit. We’ve watched this pattern for eight years across Indian classrooms. The Composite Skill Lab mandate due in August 2027 is on course to repeat it — unless schools approach it differently from the start.

Equipment is bought. Capability is built.

HOW WE WORK WITH YOU

Four entry points. One pedagogy underneath all of them.

MANDATE READINESS

CBSE 2027 Composite Skill Lab

Every CBSE-affiliated school needs a Composite Skill Lab by August 2027. We help schools approach it as a pedagogical opportunity, not a procurement scramble.

  • 110-hour annual curriculum, NCERT-aligned
  • Project frameworks aligned with Kaushal Bodh
  • Inspection-ready documentation and portfolios
  • 16-month structured roadmap to August 2027
PROGRAMME DELIVERY

Lab Setup and Maintenance

Whatever lab your school has — Atal Tinkering Lab, Composite Skill Lab, robotics, drones, AI, 3D printing — we design the programmes that run inside it and train the teachers who run them.

  • ATL revival and steady-state programmes
  • Lab-themed engagements: robotics, drones, AI, 3D, IoT
  • Year-long structured curriculum
  • No equipment markup — pedagogy first
FACULTY DEVELOPMENT

Teacher Capacity Building

A school's teachers are the lever, not the equipment. We embed with your faculty for a year or longer, until they can run creative-education work confidently on their own.

  • Train your existing teachers in-house
  • Or deploy Hankernest-trained educators to your campus
  • Handover-ready by Year 2 or 3
  • Educator-led, not engineer-led

OUR APPROACH

Think Inside the Boxâ„¢

I’ve taught in classrooms in three countries now. The challenges are different. The thing that works is always the same: a teacher who knows how to make space for thinking.
That’s what these programmes are for. Not to certify you. To help you build the small set of skills that change how a classroom feels on a Tuesday afternoon.

THE FUNDAMENTALS

Educators before equipment

Pedagogy first. Tools earn their place when they add value.

Fit before ambition

Designed for the timetable you already have.

Implementation before expansion

Year-long structured engagement over one-off events.

WHAT A YEAR LOOKS LIKE

A typical first year with Hankernest

APR–JUN

Diagnostic and design

We visit the school, meet faculty, audit existing labs and curricula. We co-design a programme to fit your timetable, your students, and your goals.

JUL–SEP

Launch and embed

Programmes begin. Teacher training starts. We’re on campus weekly or fortnightly for the first term to make sure the rhythm establishes.

OCT–DEC

Steady-state and projects

Students are deep into project work. Teachers are gaining confidence. We shift from leading sessions to coaching teachers who lead them.

JAN–MAR

Demonstration and evolution

Kaushal Mela or Innovation Day. Public demonstrations of work. We review the year with you and design the next.

QUESTIONS PRINCIPALS ASK

Honest answers.

How is this different from a kit vendor or a lab installer?

A vendor sells equipment and trains your staff to use it. We design the programme, train your teachers to deliver it, embed for a year or two, and step back when your school can run it independently. We don’t sell hardware. Schools buy what they need from CBSE-recommended vendors at fair market price. Our work is the pedagogy that makes the equipment matter.

Will my teachers actually be able to run this without you?

That’s the goal. Our model is built for handover by Year 2 or 3. If we’re still indispensable to your school after three years, we’ve failed. We measure ourselves on whether your teachers can confidently lead the work after we step back, not on how long we keep coming back.

What's the cost?

It depends on programme scope, school size, and engagement length. We design proposals after the first conversation. We don’t publish fixed pricing because schools have very different needs and we’d rather meet you than sell you a tier. The first 30-minute call is free and carries no commitment.

Can we start small?

Yes. Many schools begin with a single workshop, a teacher development cohort, or an audit of their existing lab. The 30-minute conversation is the right place to figure out where to start. We won’t push a year-long engagement on a school that’s better served starting with a term.

We're already behind on the August 2027 mandate. Is it too late?

Not yet, but the runway is shrinking. With 16 months to go, a school that starts in summer 2026 has time to design the lab thoughtfully, train teachers properly, and run a full pilot before the deadline. A school that waits until 2027 will have weeks, not months, and the work will be procurement-led rather than pedagogy-led. The earlier we start, the more the lab will actually function on day one.

WORK WITH US

Bring creative thinking into your classrooms — one programme at a time.

A 30-minute conversation. No deck. No sales pitch. Just a conversation about your school’s context and whether we can be useful.
