Meet the Founder

Hankernest was founded by Hardik Chadda, an educator and technologist committed to making education practical, hands-on, and industry-relevant. With experience in AI, IoT, and neuroscience, he has worked on real-world tech innovations, collaborated with global researchers, and led academic and industry training programs.

His mission is simple: bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world skills. Through Hankernest, he ensures that students and professionals gain practical expertise, hands-on experience, and career-ready skills—not just theoretical knowledge.

Our Journey

The Hankernest Story

Hankernest started in my final year of B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering at Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI)when I built a low-cost 3D printer. What began in 2017 as a manufacturing company for 3D printers, CNC machines, and laser cutters soon evolved into something bigger.

As I pursued my M.Tech. in Computer Science at DEI, I pivoted Hankernest to focus on tech education, setting up tinkering labs in schools and technology labs in colleges. My journey continued into a Ph.D. in Neuroscience and Pedagogy at DEI, where I research creativity and how to nurture students into creative thinkers.

DEI’s emphasis on value-based education, experiential learning, and community-driven growth has shaped Hankernest’s approach. Our programs are built on these principles—practical, hands-on learning that prepares students for the future, with a focus on both technical expertise and holistic development.
